Our experience with ARC Construction was terrific. Not only was Ron extremely professional and thorough in his planning and execution, but he was a pleasure to work with as well. Ron and his superintendent of construction, Robert Miller, were not only focused on the cost of the project, but the quality of the project as well, which was very important to me, considering my background in architecture. Additionally, being that this was a restaurant renovation (while we were open for business), any time the restaurant is closed is lost revenue. ARC was willing to work at odd times so as to not impact my business and after 5 months of construction, we did not lose a single hour of business. Now that is impressive. And last, but clearly not least, was the fact that the project came in on time and under budget. Those are two phrases that are generally not spoken in the same sentence.
I can be the most difficult of individuals to build for because I spent years working with commercial contractors on many different kinds of projects. I understand what can and cannot be done. ARC impressed me considerably and should I ever consider another project of any kind in the future, I would undoubtedly ask Ron to look at it first.

I was referred to Ronnie Ratley at ARC Design Build by a friend when I was planning to build a new 6,600 square foot photography studio/office building.  In our initial meeting, I told Ronnie that if he took the job I would need to move into it the first week of July, when we were shut down for the week. It was early March at the time and I did not even have a design.  He made a commitment to me that he would make it happen.  Ronnie and I immediately met with his design team and within three weeks we had a workable plan.  Led by the ARC onsite Superintendent, the synchronization of contractors was amazing as they worked from dawn to dusk. Ronnie personally worked through each and every 'bump in the road' and stayed focused on the quality of construction and the most challenging deadline. The outcome was a beautiful building, which is a showplace for our street and of which we are very proud.  And we were able to move in on July 1, right on schedule.

As in any building project, things have come up that required fixing or fine tuning.  ARC did not just finish, take the money and run.  Ronnie has kept in touch with me periodically, has addressed any and all issues and dealt with them immediately.
